Colorbar Perfect Match Beauty Balm Review

With the summers on the peak point, I hardly use foundation or any full coverage base! Recently on my visit to Shopper's Stop, I stopped at the Colorbar counter and my eyes instantly glued on this BB cream. I know this is not their new launch but I would be trying it for the first time, I immediately purchased it after swatching! Today I am going to review Colorbar Perfect Match Beauty Balm!

Colorbar Perfect Match Beauty Balm comes in a slim, sturdy beige squeezable tube with a silver screw top lid. The tube in turn comes in a silver cardboard box packaging with all the information written over it.  The packaging is quite light and can be easily carried around in a makeup bag without any fuss.

The BB cream comes in 3 shades and I chose 100 White Light. Though it matches my skin tone perfectly but sometimes I feel it looks white if I apply too much product on my skin. I think Vanilla Creme would be perfect for my yellow skin tone!

The texture of the Colorbar Perfect Match Beauty Balm is soft and smooth with mousse like consistency. The BB cream has light and mild scent that is hardly noticeable. I simply take a small blob of BB cream and apply it like a foundation. It blends into my skin easily giving me an even coverage. If you have dry skin, make sure you moisturize your skin really well else it will accentuate your dry patches and the blending becomes very difficult. The BB cream is non greasy and does not feel heavy. It makes my skin soft, smooth and glowing. It gives sheer coverage just like any other BB cream. It hides minor imperfections but does not cover up blemishes or pimples/ acne and I need to use a separate concealer. I can say it is pretty long lasting. My skin feels moisturized and fresh for a good 5-6 hours without making it oily or dull. 

The BB Cream contains SPF 20 which is an added bonus and I don’t need to use a separate sunscreen for sun protection. It looks fresh and natural and does not give a white cast to my face when photographed.

As the BB cream gives dewy look, I top it with a compact powder to make it stay longer. I don’t have visible pores on my skin but I do feel it smoothens out the small pores and makes my skin look more even. It can be easily removed using a good makeup remover. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using it.
