After finishing Himalaya Fresh Start Oil Clear Peach Face Wash, I was really confused which face wash to use next. With temperature on peak, my skin gets loads of pimples and acne if not cleansed properly. When I saw the word 'charcoal' and 'oily skin' on Mamaearth Charcoal Face Wash, I got confident enough to try it out! Mamaearth Charcoal Face Wash comes in a smooth white squeezable plastic tube with a black flip open lid. The lid is quite tight and the tube can be easily carried around in a bag without any fear of leakage or spillage. I really liked the design and embossed writing on the tube. The packaging is sleek and does not take too much space on the shelf in the shower. The face wash is pure black in color with a pleasant scent. Though I could not detect the scent but it is really good.

The texture of the face wash is soft and smooth with gel like consistency. I take 50p sized amount of face wash for both face and neck and it creates a good amount of lather that feels really soft and nice on the skin. It gives a feeling of thorough cleansing. It washes away really quickly and does not leave greasy or sticky residue behind. My skin feels fresh, smooth and thoroughly cleansed without any tightness. It removes dirt, oil and non waterproof makeup effectively but fails in removing waterproof makeup. The lovely smell does not linger with me and fades away as soon as it is rinsed off. It does not tighten my skin and I do not feel the need to moisturize my face immediately. It does help in preventing and reducing pimples and acne after a few days of continuous usage and keeps the skin clean, clear and fresh. It also helps in reducing the redness caused by pimples.
Mamaearth Charcoal Face Wash contains activated charcoal that maintains the skin balance. It also has coffee extract, clay and tea tree oil that are perfect for oily skin!

Overall Thoughts:
Overall Mamaearth Charcoal Face Wash has become my favorite face wash! It keeps my skin oil free, clean and clear! It does not dry out my skin unlike other charcoal based face washes! It is gentle to the skin yet cleanses the skin effectively! I would highly recommend to anyone with oily and acne prone skin! It is great for normal skin too!
My Tips:
→ Always wash your hands properly before washing your face!
→ Remove all your makeup before cleansing your skin!
→ Do not use hot water to wash your face!
→Wash your face at least twice a day!
→ Take appropriate quantity of face to wash your face. Do not take very little or too much!
→ Always follow it up with toning and moisturizing!
