Faces Cosmetics Pop Up Makeup Brush Review

I am a huge fan of makeup brushes and love collecting them (It is my current obsession!). I used to carry regular makeup brushes in my makeup bag but I need to cover them in a zipper plastic case to protect their bristles. Recently I came across a retractable brush at Faces Cosmetics Store and literally made puppy face in front of my bro and bravo I succeeded! Today I am going to discuss my experience with Faces Cosmetics Pop up Makeup Brush.

Faces Cosmetics Pop Up Makeup Brush comes in a glossy black retractable packaging. It comes sealed in a plastic wrapper that ensures the product has not been used or opened. The packaging reminds me of a telescope. You need to pull one end of the brush and the inner mechanism separates to reveal the brush. The brush has a diamond like thing at one end to increase the beauty of the packaging. The pop up brush is quite light and can be easily carried around in a makeup bag. It is easy to hold whilst application without any uneasiness. The packaging is fairly simple yet elegant to look at.

 The bristles of the brush are very soft and feel really smooth and feather like on skin. They do not feel scratchy or irritate the face unlike few other brushes. The brush is quite dense and fluffy and can be used for applying blush, powder and bronzer. The bristles pick up the right amount of powder or blush and apply smoothly and evenly. The powder or blush blends in perfectly giving a flawless and even finish to the skin. I usually don’t apply loose powder with this brush as I want fluffier brush like Born pretty Store Brush to blend the powder evenly. I love the effect it gives to my cheeks whenever I apply blush using it. It looks natural and perfectly blended. It is easy to wash the brush with a baby shampoo and it takes 2-3 days to dry out completely. Every time I wash my brush I find 3-4 bristles shed out. After washing, the bristles do not tend to become hard or stiff and feels soft just as it did before. 

The brush is really soft and is perfect for sensitive skin. It is easy to apply powder on the under eye area without smudging or wiping off the concealer. It is great for highlighting the cheeks as well.
