Maybelline New York Vivid & Smooth Eye Liner By Eyestudio ‘Forest Green’ Review, Swatches & EOTD

Green liners are my current favorites. They go well with almost all outfits and look good on any occasion. I prefer pencil liners over liquid liners. I had already tried one of the Maybelline Vivid & Smooth liners in Bordeaux Pearl and when I saw this online on Goodlife.com, I immediately ordered it for me. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Maybelline New York Vivid & Smooth Eye Liner By Eyestudio in ‘Forest Green’.

The eye liner is creamy and glides smoothly and effortlessly across the lids. It gives a neat, subtle liner of color with a single swipe but can also be layered on to get a dramatic effect. It allows me to define my eyes effortlessly and apply a flick to the outer corners. It sets into a waterproof and smudge- proof finish after application and doesn't budge or smudge till removed. The staying power is awesome. The eyeliner remains intact the whole day with a perfect hold until I am ready to remove it with a remover. I find that the tapered tip wears down rather quickly and needs sharpening after using it 3-4 times. The eyeliner sharpens very well with no flaking of the pencil fibers. It doesn't cause any adverse effects on my skin. The liner can be easily removed using olive oil or an eye makeup remover.

'Forest Green' is a gorgeous dark pine green color with a metallic finish. It contains fine shimmers that are hardly noticeable. The liner looks fantastic with both soft and smoky looks. It instantly brightens up my eyes and looks quite subtle and wearable. It looks great with neutral eye shadows. It is really pigmented and gives true color in just two swipes. It is my favorite green shade among all the green colored liners I possess. I cannot speak of my experience with smudging the eyeliner as usually I don’t favor this look. It would look flattering on all skin tones.
