Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector Review

BB (short for Blemish Balm) creams have been overhyped in the market these days. It had spread in the blogosphere like a virus. Although I had no plans of buying any BB cream but after reading many positive reviews, I thought of giving it a try. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector.

Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector comes in a black cardboard box packaging. The actual product comes in a beige colored squeezable tube with a white screw cap. Upon opening the lid, there is a nozzle that dispenses the right amount of product. The tube is quite light and can be easily carried around in a makeup bag without any fear of leakage or spillage. The BB cream is beige colored with slightly orange undertones and is slightly dark than the color of the tube.

The texture of the BB cream is soft and smooth with medium consistency. I usually apply moisturizer and dot this cream all over my face and blend it using circular motions. It blends effortlessly without getting patchy. It has nice ad pleasant smell that vanishes as soon as it is applied on the face. The BB cream comes in only shade. I use only a dollop of cream to avoid looking like a ghost. It gives a whitish cast to my face so I make sure to use it sparingly or blend it with a makeup sponge. The BB cream makes my skin soft, smooth, even and moisturized. Although it evens out the skin tone and hides minor blemishes but you would need a concealer if you have acne, pimples or blemishes.

The BB cream gives a radiant and healthy look to my skin. It does not feel heavy on the skin and feels quite light and natural when used sparingly. It keeps oil at bay for a good 2-3 hours but when I top it up with a compact powder it stays put for 4-5 hours. It contains SPF 24 which is great and I don’t need to apply a separate sunscreen. I also sometimes use it as a foundation base to get that lovely dewy look. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using this cream.
